Family Outreach provides in-home parent coaching services that are professional, yet very personal as we share together the struggles facing parents today in an environment of safety, support, and growth. Many families that are experiencing changes such as divorce, birth, illness, death, and unemployment are in need of support to get through the challenges that these events bring. Parent Coaching services provide in home peer parenting to parents in need of support.

All parent coaching services are voluntary and are based on the mutually agreed upon plan formed by the Parent Coaching Manager, and family members. Services may include twice monthly in home meetings that focus on appropriate parenting and discipline, budgeting, emotional support during crisis, and support in advocating for your child’s needs. Parent Coaching volunteers aid in resource referral, phone support, advocacy and ongoing parent education. Each service plan is individualized for your needs and is strictly confidential.

Volunteers, under the supervision of a social service professional, serve as in-home parenting coaches to families. The goal is to empower parents and strengthen parenting and problem solving skills while improving family relations.
