Family Outreach was developed in response to the concern for at-risk families that were not receiving needed services in their communities. In 1973, the first Family Outreach center was opened in Richardson, Texas. Family Outreach Clear Lake/Bay Area was established in September 1984 to serve the families in Clear Lake and the surrounding communities. For more than twenty years, Family Outreach volunteers have been committed to a common goal—to help children grow up safe, confident, and capable of building better families of their own.
